To Fereydoon Omidi, Reflection is a happening which drives illusions' waves into a 'flow', into the real flow of life. The happening feeds on the contrast between the real and the virtual. Initially it creates a shock and then it casts doubt on the perceiver. Watching these images, gradually one doubts whether reality is riding illusion or illusion is riding reality. The images do not rise from the unconscious but depart for the unconscious and carry with themselves one's mind. Translated by Fariba Moghaddam
