Inspired by Historical Art Pieces

Born in Malta, Janet visited the Middle East in 1974, and subsequently lived in France, Iran and Australia. Throughout her travels, she has been inspired by historical art pieces which redefined cultural ideologies, and profoundly altered the subconscious of our societies. Janet continues to travel regularly, visiting artists in their studios and discovering works that allow analysis of identity, meaning and perspectives, in both a local and global context.

Janet is a member of many renowned professional bodies including Finarta, The Private International Art Network, The Advisory Council of CARAVAN, and The Council of the Iran Society. In 2022, Janet was the curator of the first ever Kyrgyz Republic Pavilion with exhibitor Firouz FarmanFarmaian at the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
