Padideh Dehdari

Biography

Padideh Dehdari (b.1966, Tehran, Iran) grew up in an artistic family, receiving a varied and cultured education in Tehran, before moving to Paris to study History at the Sorbonne.

With the knowledge and experience gained from studying different artistic fields, Dehdari has found her artistic voice through the study of Iranian typography, yet now sees nature and trees as her greatest source of inspiration. Pointing to her ability to create a balance of warm and joyful colours in her paintings, Dehdari aims “to connect viewers with the fields of good feelings.”

Her works have been exhibited in group shows in Canada and Iran.
