‘I work across painting and sculpture.
My work looks at the relationship between internal and external landscapes, using place as means of exploring something personal and relational.
I’m interested in how places feel, how the experience of them nestles somewhere between our imagination, our memory and the space around us.
I’d hope my works are as much felt as they are understood.

I often come back to a sense of scale or distance in the work, using images that allude to how we fit into a larger picture.
Cities for example are vast, chaotic systems and I find it interesting how the domestic space sits alongside that.
Embedded in my work is a desire to find belonging within the world around me as well as within my own narrative.’
