‘This piece is inspired by the poetic inferences in Charlotte Runcie’s book, Salt on Your Tongue, where tides, the moon and our bodies as vessels of brine come together to consolidate the ancient relationship through mythologies, traditions and physiologies between women and the sea.

This sculpture is hand built using stoneware clay.’
