Biography

Robert Twigger is a British artist who works with painting, drawing, photography, words and poetry. He has no formal training in painting and works in the outsider art tradition. His most famous exploit was to capture in 1998 the world’s longest snake, which is recorded in the National Geographic film Big Snake. He lived for seven years in Cairo where he returns often. He now lives and works in Dorset, UK.
